Our own telescope alley. Cars are parked back to back with about 30-40 feet in-between. The scopes then get set up in the area between the cars. That way you can have your tent just feet away from your scope, and you know that when you're in the area that it's all telescopes to watch out for

This year Walter brought Carol along. I think she had a pretty good time - I know we enjoyed having her come along.

Carl checking out Jeff's Dob. Notice the tape on the bottom. Jeff moved the primary mirror forward to increase the scope's speed. He forgot that that would change the balance - so we taped a bottle of water to his scope and all was well. We called it heavy water :)

Here's me getting ready for another night of excellent imaging. This is the trip that I got to image M20 - The Trifid Nebula and M27 - The Dumbbell Nebula. I think they turned out pretty good.

We always take one of our signs with us to use as advertising as well as a rallying place.
